Following an illness of several months, Mrs. Frances Abel, 71, widow of Martin Abel, died Wednesday night in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jacob W. Kinzig, 513 E. 8th st.
Mrs. Abel was a member of the Rosary society, the Catholic Women’s Union, the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Knights of St. John and the Ladies’ Auxiliary of Railroad Trainmen.
She leaves three sons, William of this city, Edward of Indianapolis, Ind., and Carl of Chetek, Wis., a daughter, Mrs Jacob W. Kinzig of this city; 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in the home of her daughter and at 9 a.m. in St. Mary’s church. Interment will be in the family lot in Trinity cemetery.
