Bohrer, Jacob
Stricken with a heart attack, Jacob Bohrer, 73, of 2917 Myrtle St., died Thursday morning in his home. Prior to his retirement in June, 1940, Bohrer had been employed as a packer in the mill board department of the Ruberiod Co. for 17 years.
Surviving him are his wife, Margaret Grehl Bohrer; four daughters, Sister Raymond Marie of the Order of St. Joseph nuns; Mrs. Samuel Randazzo, Mrs. Carl Engist and Mrs. Charles E. Spencer, all of Erie; five sons, the Rev. Raymond Bohrer, Redemptorist priest stationed at St. Mary’s rectory in Annapolis, Md.; George Bohrer, of Salem, Ore.; Joseph, Anthony and Frank Bohrer, of Erie; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs Charles Berchtold, of Erie, and a brother, George Heintz, of Erie.
He was a member of the St. Alphonsus Society of St. Joseph’s Church. Funeral arrangements in charge of the Francis Kloecker Funeral Home are incomplete.
